Waste Removal in Chalk Farm (NW3, NW5)
We do waste and rubbish removal in Chalk Farm, covering NW3 and NW5 for households, landlords and local businesses. From a broken wardrobe in an upstairs flat to a garden full of old fencing, we’ll send a two-person crew with a van to lift, load and take it away. Nothing needs carrying to the kerb.
Clearing Chalk Farm’s flats, terraces and gardens
Chalk Farm sits immediately north of Camden Town, with the Roundhouse on Chalk Farm Road a familiar landmark. But collecting waste here takes us well beyond the main road: into mansion flats around Eton College Road, terraces off Haverstock Hill and blocks along Adelaide Road.
Those different properties make for different jobs. A flat clearance might involve a sofa that won’t turn easily on the landing, a redundant washing machine and years of belongings tucked into cupboards. In a terraced house, it’s often loft contents, stripped-out bathroom fittings or a shed that’s finally being emptied.
We collect single items and mixed loads, and handle a full house clearance if there’s more to sort out. Our crew collects from lofts, upstairs rooms, gardens, sheds and garages. Leave heavy or awkward items where they are so we can work out the safest way to move them.
Working around Chalk Farm’s access and parking
Near Chalk Farm station and the railway bridge towards Primrose Hill, a short distance on the map doesn’t always mean straightforward loading. Controlled parking, busy pavements and narrow entrances all affect where we can put the van. Roundhouse event traffic can make the main road busier, too.
A few photos of the waste, along with a note about stairs, lifts or a rear entrance, usually give us enough to quote. We’ll also check the loading arrangements before arriving. In blocks, we’ll work around agreed access times and keep shared routes clear as we carry things out.
You don’t have to stay at the property. We can arrange key collection or access through an agent or neighbour, then send photos when the clearance is finished. Before-and-after photos are available on request for any job.
Camden collections and the Regis Road tip
Camden’s bulky waste service can suit a few items you can get outside yourself. It charges £25 for one to five bulky items or up to 20 black bags. Large electrical items are charged separately at £10 for up to two. Collections take place Monday to Friday, from outside the home at street level.
If you live on a Camden housing estate or in a block of flats, contact your caretaker or Veolia first. Don’t leave bulky waste in communal areas: it can obstruct escape routes and create a fire risk.
Regis Road Reuse and Recycling Centre in Kentish Town, NW5 3EW, is another option if you can transport the waste. It opens daily, 9am to 4pm, except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Vans and trailers need advance booking.
Our collection is often the easier choice for mixed loads, upstairs furniture or a clearance where you need the lifting done.
An agreed price and a properly cleared space
Our quotes are free and carry no obligation, usually based on a few photos. The price depends mainly on the van space your waste takes up, plus any items needing special disposal. We agree it before starting. You can read more about how our pricing works.
We’re fully insured and registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier. You’ll get a receipt or waste transfer note for every collection. Always check a carrier on the Environment Agency’s public register and keep your receipt; using an unlicensed carrier risks a fine.
We sort what we collect for reuse and recycling where we can, take the rest to licensed sites and sweep up before leaving. Same-day and next-day collections are often possible.
