Waste Removal in Dollis Hill (NW2)
We do waste and rubbish removal in Dollis Hill, NW2, clearing everything from a broken washing machine to a houseful of unwanted furniture. Our two-person crew does all the lifting and loading, including from upstairs rooms, lofts, gardens, sheds and garages. Nothing needs carrying to the kerb.
Around Gladstone Park, a clearance can mean bringing furniture down a terrace staircase or emptying a long back garden after years of accumulated odds and ends. We’ll work out the access with you, agree the price and get it cleared.
Clearing homes around Gladstone Park
Dollis Hill’s Edwardian terraces and 1920s and 1930s semis give us plenty of different jobs: old wardrobes that won’t come downstairs in one piece, loft contents uncovered during insulation work, and sheds full of leftover timber, tools and broken garden furniture.
On Dollis Hill Lane and the residential roads around Gladstone Park, we collect renovation waste, worn-out sofas and mattresses, as well as the smaller things that build up during a move. In flats near Dollis Hill station and the shops, a collection might involve several trips down communal stairs. We handle those trips ourselves and keep shared entrances clear while we load.
You don’t need to book a whole-property clearance. We’re equally happy collecting a few bulky items or tackling a full house clearance, including belongings left behind at the end of a tenancy.
Getting the van in and the rubbish out
The useful details are often practical ones: how close we can park, which floor the waste is on, and whether there’s a side passage to the garden. A semi with side access needs a different approach from a terrace where everything has to come through the house.
Send us a few photos of the waste and tell us about any stairs or awkward access. We’ll usually give you a free, no-obligation quote from those. Our price is based mainly on the van space your waste takes up, plus any items needing special disposal. We agree it before we start. Our pricing guide explains how that works.
We’ll discuss parking before the collection, including any restrictions outside your home. Same-day and next-day collections are often possible, so it’s worth calling even if your moving date or delivery is close.
Brent collections, Abbey Road or a van collection?
Brent’s bulky collection suits a few household items you can safely put outside yourself. It costs £55 for up to five items, left at your property boundary by 7am. Crews won’t collect from inside homes, blocks of flats, back gardens, garages or sheds.
For a manageable load you can transport, Abbey Road Household Reuse and Recycling Centre in Park Royal, NW10 7TJ, is another option. You need a confirmed booking. It opens 8am–4pm on Monday and Thursday to Sunday, with bank-holiday closures at Christmas and New Year. Brent residents using a hire van must book ahead, bring photo ID and recent proof of address, and are limited to two visits a year. Commercial vehicles aren’t accepted through the household service.
A skip can suit ongoing building work if you have space. On Brent’s public highway, the skip company must arrange a council licence; a controlled parking bay may also need suspension. Private land needs no skip licence. Our van collection makes sense when you want the lifting done and the waste removed in one visit.
A Dollis Hill clearance you can leave with us
We’re fully insured and registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier. You can check our registration on its public register, and we give you a receipt or waste transfer note for every collection.
We sort what we collect for reuse and recycling where we can, take the rest to licensed sites, and sweep up before we leave.
Can’t be there? We can collect keys or arrange access through your agent or neighbour, then send photos once we’re finished. Before-and-after photos are available on request for any job.
