Waste Removal in Stonebridge (NW10)
We do waste and rubbish removal in Stonebridge, NW10, from a single broken appliance to a full property clearance. Our two-person crew arrives with a van, does all the lifting and loading, and sweeps up before leaving. You don’t need to carry anything to the kerb.
Clearing homes around Hillside and Brentfield
Stonebridge sits in southern Brent, at the western end of Harlesden. Along the A404 through Hillside and Brentfield, and across towards Stonebridge Park station, access makes a real difference to a clearance. A sofa coming down from a flat needs a different approach from bags of garden waste behind a terraced house.
The area’s mix of older terraces, semis and newer homes around the redeveloped Stonebridge estate means there’s no single way to handle every job. We clear furniture after a move, old kitchen units during refurbishments, accumulated loft contents and sheds that have become too full to use.
We collect from anywhere in the property, including upstairs rooms, lofts, gardens, sheds and garages. If you’re arranging a house clearance, we can work through several rooms in one visit, taking bulky furniture and smaller loose items together.
Getting the van in and the rubbish out
Around Hillside and the approaches to the North Circular, we plan where the van can safely stop before loading. On residential roads, parked cars, shared entrances and the distance between the property and the van can all affect the job. We’ll discuss those details when quoting.
For flats, we’ll check the floor, lift access and any arrangements for communal doors. For houses, it helps to see steps, narrow hallways or a side passage in the photos. We’ll work out the carrying route and keep shared access clear as we load.
You don’t have to be there throughout the clearance. We can arrange key collection or access through an agent or neighbour, clear the property while you’re away and send photos once it’s finished. Before-and-after photos are available on request for any collection.
Brent collections, Abbey Road or a skip?
Brent’s bulky waste service suits a few household items you can get outside yourself. It costs £55 for up to five items, left at the property boundary by 7am. Crews don’t collect from inside homes, blocks of flats, back gardens, garages or sheds. If the carrying is the difficult part, our crew can handle it.
For smaller loads you can transport, Abbey Road Household Reuse and Recycling Centre in Park Royal, NW10 7TJ, is an option. A confirmed booking is required. It opens 8am–4pm on Monday and Thursday to Sunday, with bank holiday exceptions. Brent residents using hire vans must book ahead, bring photo ID and recent proof of address, and are limited to two visits a year. Commercial vehicles, tail-lifts and vehicles over 3.5 tonnes aren’t allowed through the household service.
A skip can suit an ongoing renovation with room to keep it. On Brent’s public highway, the skip company must obtain a council licence; a controlled parking bay may also need suspension. Private land needs no skip licence.
A clear price for your Stonebridge collection
Our quotes are free and no-obligation, usually from a few photos. The price depends mainly on how much van space your waste takes up, plus any items needing special disposal. We agree the price before starting, so you know what the collection will cost. Our pricing guide explains the basis.
We’re fully insured and registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier. You’ll receive a receipt or waste transfer note for every collection. You can check our registration on the Environment Agency’s public register, as you should with anyone taking your waste.
We sort what we collect for reuse and recycling where we can, and take the rest to licensed sites. Same-day and next-day collections are often possible.
