Waste Removal in Swiss Cottage (NW3, NW6)

We do waste and rubbish removal in Swiss Cottage, covering NW3 and NW6 with a two-person crew and a van. From a broken wardrobe in an upstairs flat to a full house clearance, we’ll do the lifting, loading and disposal. Nothing needs carrying to the kerb.

Clearing flats and houses around Swiss Cottage

Around Finchley Road and Avenue Road, a collection often starts with working out access. A flat above commercial premises needs a different approach from a house with a front drive. Along Belsize Road and towards Fairfax Road, converted properties, terraces and purpose-built blocks can mean narrow stairs, shared entrances and limited room to load.

We clear old sofas, mattresses and appliances after moves, furniture left at the end of a tenancy, and the accumulated contents of cupboards, lofts and spare rooms. In larger houses, we can work through several floors, then tackle the shed, garage or garden.

Tell us about stairs, lifts and any building access arrangements when you send your photos. We’ll plan the collection around them. If your block has a caretaker or managing agent, we can coordinate access so the crew arrives knowing where to go.

Loading near Finchley Road and Avenue Road

The junction around Swiss Cottage station is busy, and stopping a van close to an entrance takes some planning. Side streets have their own parking restrictions, too. We’ll discuss a suitable loading position before the visit, including any restrictions your building has on collection times.

Our two-person crew collects from anywhere in the property, including lofts, upstairs rooms, gardens, sheds and garages. You don’t need to wrestle a mattress down the stairs or leave furniture on the pavement before we arrive.

For renovation clear-outs, our builders’ waste removal service can deal with the waste left behind. Send clear photos of the materials so we can assess the load and identify anything needing special disposal.

Camden collections and the Regis Road tip

Camden’s bulky collection is a sensible option for a few items you can get outside yourself. The council charges £25 for one to five bulky items or up to 20 black bags. Large electrical items are charged separately at £10 for up to two. Collections run Monday to Friday, from outside the home at street level.

If you live on a Camden housing estate or in a block of flats, contact your caretaker or Veolia first. Don’t leave items in communal corridors or stairwells: Camden warns that they create a fire risk.

You can also use Regis Road Reuse and Recycling Centre in Kentish Town, NW5 3EW. It opens daily, 9am to 4pm, except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Vans and trailers need advance booking.

Our service suits jobs where carrying everything downstairs, arranging transport or making several trips would be difficult. We collect directly from the rooms you’re clearing.

Book a Swiss Cottage collection with a clear price

Waste Removal North West London is fully insured and registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier. You’ll get a receipt / waste transfer note for every collection. You can check our registration on the Environment Agency public register. Using an unlicensed carrier risks a fine, so checking matters.

Quotes are free and carry no obligation, usually from a few photos. We base the price mainly on the van space your waste takes up, plus any items needing special disposal, and agree it before starting. Our pricing guide explains how charges work. Same-day and next-day collections are often possible.

We sort what we collect for reuse and recycling where we can, take the rest to licensed sites, and sweep up before leaving. We can take before-and-after photos on request, too.

Away from the property? We can arrange key collection or access through an agent or neighbour, complete the clearance and send photos when it’s done.

Call 020 4538 1013 or send photos through our contact page. We’ll give you a clear quote and arrange your Swiss Cottage collection.
